Message	Personal opinion. Just bought a house with a nice detached garage. Had to replace an entire piece of shit rock on the ceiling and you can most definitely tell it was done. I personally would go with smooth. If someone doesn't like the fact they can see a seam line in your drywall job. I think they may be looking a bit to close.
